Since the first time Cody Melphy touched a rugby ball, he knew it would start to become a massive part of his life…and now he is playing in the big leagues….

“The culture around it was amazing, so I fell in love. For the past six years I have spent eight hours a day practicing, watching, learning and coaching rugby to become the best..”

Melphy’s journey started at Heritage High School for the Littleton Eagles and then moved on to top club and now Major League Rugby squad Glendale Raptors Rugby for three years.

From there, Melphy was recruited by Rugby4LIFE University where he played a major role in the teams success at Collegiate Rugby Championship.

Melphy has also played for select sides like Stars Rugby 7s which was in Australia and AIG All-Americans at RugbyTown 7s. Not to mention, top club team Denver Barbarians Rugby which just finished 2nd at USA Club Rugby7s National Championships.

After a long journey, Melphy got selected to USA Rugby 7s squad and will play this weekend in VEGAS! Melphy is ready for the next challenge and don’t be surprised if his name continues to ring bells.
